URMIDWAR FOUNDATION was formed in the year of 1996 in Bharatpur, district of Rajasthan & Registered under the Rajasthan Society Act. 1958. to provide self-employment through SHG and skill development training in different livelihood activities, mainly agriculture & Water Conservation, dairy development, food processing, Garment making &  Embroidery and better health and education facilities to rural poor families and backward classes of the society.

With this project, they wish to run an awareness campaign on the importance of sanitation, rainwater harvesting and the importance of toilets and provide the rural population with proper rainwater harvesting setups and toilets. They have already supported 150 BPL of Block Sanchor of Jalor.

  • Reduce diseases.
  • Safety for girls and women’s.
  • Cleanliness and hygiene.
  • It guards against rising costs. Failing to conserve water can eventually lead to a lack of an adequate water supply, which can have drastic consequences. These include rising costs, reduced food supplies, health hazards, and political conflict.

Environmental Benefits: 

  • Protected and balanced ecosystem.
  • It minimizes the effects of drought and water shortages.
  • Healthier cattle’s. 
  • Water is left in rivers, reservoirs, groundwater basins where it can be used for enhancing environmental purposes
  •  Lower energy consumption can have secondary benefits by reducing energy production 
  •  Reduced wastewater flows mean that less effluent must be disposed of, often with some environmental impacts Quantifying the environmental benefits is not simple.
